Tyrone Battle, Online Research and Analytics Program Manager, HP, explores how HP implemented its customer satisfaction deployment framework to its global websites. He will also discuss the additional capabilities and data gained that provides additional context to survey results.

Data Quality: Issues Around the Respondent Experience and Respondent Fraud,
Arun Reddy, Software Developer and Ole Andresen, Director, Product Management, Confirmit, discuss how data quality, particularly in online research, can be affected by different types of undesirable respondent behavior, and look into some strategies to detect and reduce these problems. The presentation will demonstrate how the latest versions of Confirmit (12 and 12.5) improve the respondent experience. There will also be a discussion on methodologies in response classification with a view to reducing the impact of fraudulent respondents on survey data quality.

The US National Immunization Survey: Cutting-Edge Technology and Methodology Deliver one of the World’s Largest and Most Challenging Social Research Programmes
Jenny Kelly, VP, NORC at the University of Chicago, gives a detailed overview of the National Immunization Survey (NIS). The control and prevention of infectious diseases is a major issue for most governments.  The NIS is designed to consistently monitor vaccine coverage and fluctuations in availability in the US.  A household RDD telephone survey is the current approach that can cost-effectively achieve both the high response rates and good coverage of the population required for this purpose.  However challenges to RDD surveys are increasing on several fronts.  This talk will discuss the methodologies and technologies used to address these issues.
